EARLY CHILDHOOD LEARNING EDUCATORS
Sue Heading and Julya Hegarty are early
learning educators with years of experience working in kindergartens and bush kindy spaces.
Sue and Julya's ambition is to:
- Inspire adults through nature based Wild Art.
- Empower adults to collaborate with children in an authentic nature experience.
Our professional development sessions are designed for anyone interested in working with children in a nature environment.
Simple techniques are provided, along with our tips and hints. Adults will learn to work effectively alongside children, collaborating and engaging in a nature experience using natural ‘loose parts’.
We’ll be encouraging rich conversations as a group. By dipping your toes into deep thinking skills, you’ll gain a unique understanding of the child’s expressive play.
Together, we’ll highlight significant ‘learning outcomes’ and provide you with the tools to confidently produce a ‘reflective document’ of the Wild Art experience.
