Creating and using Nature Tools and Mark Making.

Utilise a variety of natural mark making techniques on recycled materials. Create beautiful layered effects by using a range of repurpose kitchen wastes, native plants, mud, and paint. Participants will take home an art piece, inspiration and knowledge to continue exploring techniques.
Be Inspired by the natural landscape as we explore and use leaves, bark, natural paints and other found objects. During this half day workshop, participants will apply these natural products in a variety of dyeing and printing techniques. Learn how to make your own paint brushes, process plant matter. Create your own natural paints, identify plant fibers to make rope to tie your pieces together. Be inspired to explore the beauty of mark making from the natural environment.
Sometime will be set aside for connecting to the natural surroundings. Making the day mindfully healing as well as a learning experience.
Tea and coffee and morning tea provided. Bring your own lunch and snacks.
